Operate heavy equipment such as motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, compressors, pumps, derricks, shovels, batch plants, forklifts, skytrak lifts, tractors or front-end loaders to excavate, move and grade earth, move and erect structures, or mix and pour concrete, precast or other hard surface in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures. Load and unload equipment, structures or materials from the trailers and vehicles. Ensure company equipment, materials and work site are maintained, kept clean and stored in safe manner. Observe safety codes and procedures at all times. Communicate with coworkers to explain and understand project specifications as needed. Report and advise the necessary parties of the need for equipment upgrades, repairs and or replacements.
Special wage rate: Work to be performed on DPRI-funded projects and projects covered by Davis Bacon, Service Contracts Act, and/or Executive Order 14206 will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate but may be paid more where special rates apply.
